Sadly not Nige.

Plugs, leads and pack didn't do it. But I stupidly didn't check the injectors when I had it all off. That's the next thing to re-try and then if it's not that, then what next? Points to head off next?

You can avoid pulling the head just to inspect things if you buy one of these

Hands down one of the most useful tools you can have. There are loads available, this is just an example :)

Any track feedback from the ProAlloy ? Any logs or temps etc ?

Cheers

It's very hot on my car, the cruise temps are high too.

I think it's the engine but I can't prove it without a rebuild which isn't going to happen.

The next person to have it might have better luck testing.

MINI is SORN, going turbo, so these parts are surplus to requirements now. All coming off of a working car this week.

Collection from CO5 / Essex or postage is shown.

ProAlloy TIMIC £400 posted. A small dent on the top where I dropped a socket and just caught it as it landed. All working fine, just to be clear. I can include the diverter from the bonnet scoop for the top mount too.

Bosch 550cc injectos with 'pig tails' £200 posted.

Facelift teflon supercharger with 17% KAVS pulley £350.

Dave.F airbox. Modified airbox with the K&N filter included. £60 posted.

Atomspeed scoop in black. £115 posted.

If there's anything else you want that's likely to come off then drop me a message. Cheers.

Sad to hear it's off the road but excited abiut the turbo. Are you building it yourself or handing a big chunk of monies to someone?

I'm seeing it as a silver lining! I am hoping to do as much of it as possible myself, but it will need a (hopefully not as big) chunk of money at some point based on my skills and where I'd like to go with it.

Looking forward to seeing your Turbo set up.

Thanks pal.

Ooooo - another M45 goes bye bye

Good luck with it Shaun

nickbmw he sells the Ecumaster ecu that I have in my car. This also now comes in a compact version which is less than half the size of the original
Oh he is a supplier? That's the ECU I'd like for mine - seems great value.

I have an ECU :-)

But... Can the ECUMaster support cruise?

Why would you possibly want that? To be honest I don't actually know but their product support is superb so it may just be a case of asking them

Not been on here much, I shouldn't neglect my build thread!

So the turbo conversion is well under way!

Old engine out, one burnt out valve.

New engine in, CatCam in, ARP head bolts in. New rocker, sump, oil ring, exhaust and inlet gaskets and oil filter.

Turbo on, most things mocked up. Now just gasketing, sealing, the fiddly wiring jobs and fluids and we might be ready to fire it up.

Pictures!

Good work Shaun, still find it hilarious that this turbo kit, although it's been modified is back on the car it started with lol

Haha, exactly! The saga continues... Below!

Finally got a password reset now that the forum has been updated. Sweeeet!

So, the engine I fitted, I may... MAY... Have left without oil for too long and ceased it. Silly me.

Car is sat at 1320 waiting for a forged block to go in when I  deliver one.
